The day came to jump unto the Gopro band wagon. I had always loved taking pictures, but the versatility of this camera is what captured my attention.
I started doing my research, as I quickly found out - there were many versions already out and I was just hearing about it for the first time.
Obviously, price could be an issue, but I didn't want it to be the biggest factor if it was worth the extra. My husband always tells me, "Pay the extra and get what you want the first time." Rather than spending and then realizing you should have took the plunge the first time.
So with that said...I was reading and watching videos like a maniac. Reviews became the deciding factor as well as my own interest.
So it came down to the Gopro Hero 4 Silver or the Hero 4 Black. Those were the latest two models out at the time.
Black was a 100$ more and at this point it was becoming a slight cost factor. But what didn't sell me on it was the fact it didn't have a LCD screen on the back and really the only difference was how fast it would shoot and the slow motion options. Relatively everything would remain the same.
With 4K Video options (and lower), 12 mp Pictures, Time Lapse (Night or Day), Burst Shot with a LCD screen, plus the bundle package for less than the extra $100 that I could get with the black. Gopro Hero 4 Silver was my choice.
So, now I had an outstanding camera, several mounts, extra batteries and still spent less than 40 to just have the black.
If you buy something, you can be so helpful to people that want to purchase- your review does matter!!
